define: - This google operator will find definitions for a certain term or  word over the Internet. Very useful when you come across a strange word when writing a post. I use this as a google dictionary. example : (define computer)

info: - The google info operator will list the sets of information that    Google has from a specific website (i.e. info:http://raviblog-computertricksandtips.blogspot.com/)

site: - This google operator can be used to see the number of indexed     pages on your site (i.e.site: info:http://raviblog-computertricksandtips.blogspot.com/).                  Alternative it can also be used to search for information inside a specific        site or class of sites.

link: - This google link operator allows you to find backlinks pointing         to your site. Unfortunately the count is not updated frequently and             not all backlinks are shown

allinurl: - Using this Google operator will limit the search to results         that contain the desired keywords on the URL structure. (i.e. allinurl:dailyblogtips)

fileformat: - Useful Google operator for finding specific file formats. Sometimes you know that the information you are looking for is likely to be contained in a PDF document or on a PowerPoint presentation, for instance. (i.e. “fileformat:.pdf market research” will search for PDF documents that contain the terms “market” and “research”)

Solution:To change it ,set parameter as FALSE and execute,else change in mouse properties from control panel.

Many times we accidently delete some files and then regret on that. Its very panic if there is some important document. But you can recover any deleted file in Windows by using the method i am going to describe.
So here is a freeware called RECUVA.

You will not 100% sure to recover all files but this tool will surely help you a lot



Follow these steps:



1.Download Recuva .It is a freeware utility.

2.Install Recuva and it will ask what sort of file you want to


3.It will scan and show you all the files that have been deleted from that particular drive.


4.After completion of the drive is complete it will show two types of files.

• Those with green icons can be recovered.
• Those with red icons cannot be recovered easily.

5.Right click on the file to be recovered and select Recover Highlighted and your file will be recovered.

Hello Friends, in my previous article we discussed on Features of Ultrasurf today i am going to explain how to  crack Internet Download Manager (IDM) manually. IDM is the best Internet download manager available on internet but its not free and its cracked or patched versions contains viruses.

Using this crack you can register the Internet Download Manager (IDM) for free using you own credentials i.e register on your Name and email ID.

I am explaining the manual cracking method because most of my users said that patch and keygen contain viruses.

This crack also works for trail IDM that means download a trail IDM from there site and register the professional i.e. full version of IDM with your credentials for free using this crack.




Step 1: Download the IDM trial or If you already have IDM installed Update it by going to Help---}} then to check for Updates.

Step2: Now Go to START => Then go to RUN and type the following text and click enter:

Step3: Now right click on hosts file and go to its properties, then go to security tab and then select your admin account, just below u will see an edit button (in front of change permissions), Now give the user full control and write and read rights and then click on apply and then click on Ok, now u will be able to edit the hosts file and save changes in it.





For Windows 7 users, due to security reasons you will not be able to save hosts file.so follow this steps :
First of all go to C:/ drive then go to Windows Folder and then go to System32 folder and then go to Drivers folder and then go to Etc Folder, in the Etc folder you will see the hosts file.


Now right click on hosts file and go to its properties then go to Security tab select Users under Group or user names and click on edit button,Permission For Host Window will get open, in that window select Users account and grant permission in bellow section which is "Permission for SYSTEM" by clicking all checkbox under "Allow" Name and press Ok.Dnt click on any Deny check box.


Note : if you have login through admin then skip this step6 .Its just for granting permission for editing file.

Step4: Now a notepad file appears something like this as shown below:





Now copy the below lines of code and add to hosts file as shown above image box :

Step5: Now open IDM and click on Registration. When you click on registration, Now a new dialog(window) appears that is asking for Name, Last Name, Email Address and Serial Key.

Step6: Now Enter you name, last name, email address and in field of Serial Key enter any of the following Keys:

Now start your Internet download manager, and now you IDM has been converted to full version and specially when you update next time, your registration will not expire.

That means it will remain full version for life time and you can update it without any problem in future.

Today I will be writing about how to create a bootable Ubuntu flash drive that will remember your settings, installed programs, and more!..

Fortunately, Universal USB Installer, a great little program from Pen Drive Linux, can do just that!

Note: You will need a USB drive of 4 GB . Make sure you back up any files on the flash drive because this process will format the drive, removing any files currently on it. Once Ubuntu has been installed on the flash drive, you can move those files back if there is enough space.

Step by step tutorial on installing UBUNTU from bootable pendrive

Put Ubuntu on your flash drive
Universal-USB-Installer.exe does not need to be installed, so just double click on it to run it wherever you downloaded it. Click Yes if you get a UAC prompt, and you will be greeted with this window. Click I Agree.


In the drop-down box on the next screen, select Ubuntu 9.10 Desktop i386. Don’t worry if you normally use 64-bit operating systems – the 32-bit version of Ubuntu 9.10 will still work fine. Some useful tools do not have 64-bit versions, so unless you’re planning on switching to Ubuntu permanently, the 32-bit version will work best.

Yesterday a friend of mine was asking about bootable pendrive. So for usefull of everyone I am posting about this here.

  MakeBootable is a freeware application that turns your USB pen drives into a bootable media with just a single click. This nifty utility makes your pen drive to be bootable without erasing any data in the USB device.

 MakeBootable consists of a single executable file and requires no installation. To use MakeBootable, run the MakeBootable executable file. On the main window, select the USB device you wish to make bootable. Click on the “Make Bootable” button to begin the process. The program will load several files required for boot up into your device.
Next, you need to change the boot-up setting in the system BIOS. With your USB device still plugged, restart your system. Enter the BIOS setup menu and change the boot device setting. Select USB Device as First Boot Device in the boot device priority. If the boot-up files are created in the USB drive, select USB-HDD or USB-ZIP (preferred). If the boot-up files are created in the floppy drive of your device, select USB-FDD (for pen drive that supports security mode).
Once done, save and exit the BIOS setup. Now, you should be able to boot up with your USB device.
MakeBootable run perfectly on Windows 98, ME, 2000 and XP.

Note : Before running MakeBootable, if your USB pen drive is under FAT32 and NTFS file system format, you need to convert the format to FAT. MakeBootable does not support FAT32 and NTFS file systems.
